Halloween Week

Writer: Sarah KolbergSarah Kolberg

I love Halloween!! Some of my fondest memories growing up was going to a local costume shop with my mom and sister. We’d spend hours trying on costume after costume until we found the perfect one. I still love dressing up for Halloween.

If you ever find yourself on the costume struggle bus…I’ll be sharing my favorite, inexpensive, and most importantly EASY, last-minute costume ideas all week long in my VIP group.

Today’s look…gypsy, fortune teller or pirate…you choose. It can be as fancy or as simple as you like! Want to keep it simple? All you need is a scarf, dark clothes, gold jewelry, black gel eyeliner and BOOM…costume complete.

For this look I used four matte eyeshadows that would, by themselves, be a great everyday palette. I used Mary Kay Chromafusion eyeshadow in Biscotti, Toffee, Mahogany and Onyx. I let the eyeliner be the star for this Halloween look. Gel eyeliner is my favorite for things like this, go as extreme as you wish. Then I added a liquid shimmer shadow on top of the liner. Don’t forget your brows when doing a bold eye like this…just trust me. Finished the look with foundation, powder, light pink cheek and a tish of red lipstick.
